Security is at the heart of everything we do, when taking card payments online we follow strict rules to make sure everything is done securely.
3D secure is an extra layer of security some banks use, it requires customers to enter a code sent to their phone number that's on their bank account, or through the use of a notification on mobile banking.
Some banks require merchants to use 3D secure, some make it optional, and some don't yet support it. If your bank supports 3D secure we will always ask for it. This means the person making the purchase is the card owner.
If you are unable to authenticate, or getting the above error we are not able to help as this is the error we get directly from your card issuer. We recommend you contact your bank's customer support.
